席红哲在上学时当过无数次班长。这个机敏的阳光男孩有着很强的社会责任感，他在从事摄影的同时打过很多份工，他做过杂志编辑、记者、平面设计、美工、家教。他喜欢去获得一些真实而广泛的经验，而这往往是一个摄影大师的本钱。席红哲的图片从来不玩花里胡哨的特效，也不搞虚妄的小资情调，因为他了解现实社会是多么的有价值。如果什么东西被他拍到，那么在他镜头的剪辑下其宏观意义往往会突显出来。人缘奇好的席红哲有着对公共经验特别的敏感，他拍一组图片往往会满城到处跑，以收集数量可观的素材，因为他相信在这个繁杂的世界里，繁杂事物的共性就是世界的本质。在他灿烂的微笑下你不可能对他有什么戒心，而正直与友善正是他的本质。
Xi Hongzhe has been a monitor for numerous times when he was in school. This smart sunshine boy has a strong sense of social responsibility. When engaged in photography, he did a lot of part-time work as a magazine editor, journalist, graphic designer, artist and tutor. He likes to get some real and extensive experience, which can often be capital of a master of photography. Photographs of Xi Hongzhe have neither showy special efficacy nor fabricated petty bourgeoisie taste because he knows how valuable the reality is. If something is photographed by him, its macro significance is often highlighted after editing in his lenses. With surprisingly good fellowship, Xi Hongzhe is very sensitive to public experience. To produce a group of photos, he often goes around the city to collect significant numbers of materials because he believes that the commonness of complicated things in this complicated world is the essence of the world. You could not be vigilant against him in his brilliant smile, for honesty and friendliness is just his nature.
